Brandin joined the firm in 2001.
Prior to moving to Grand Junction, Brandin served as a corporate
attorney for Foundation Health Systems, Inc. (now known as HealthNet
Inc.) in Pueblo, Colorado. He served as acting general counsel
to four of FHS' subsidiary life and health insurance companies and
materially assisted in the wind-down of FHS' Colorado corporate and
health maintenance organization operations (i.e., he worked himself
out of a job). Prior to his service to FHS, Brandin worked for
five years as an associate in the Cheyenne, Wyoming law firm of
Dray, Thomson & Dyekman, P.C. At Dray Thomson, Brandin
specialized in hospital law and appellate practice and
procedure. Currently, Brandin works exclusively at and for
Rocky Mountain Health Plans, Grand Junction, advising RMHP in all
matters of Colorado HMO law and Medicare and Medicaid compliance.
